Event Coordinator
I'm an experienced Event Coordinator and manage a range of events, from celebrity birthday parties to corporate product launches. I am currently working for Thames Luxury Charters, organising functions on a fleet of executive boats on the River Thames. I have a real passion for the event industry and bring energy and commitment to every project I work on.
When I'm not working I'm busy baking and creating my own recipes. I enjoy travelling, reading and seeing my favourite bands perform.

• Organise events on boat charters from conception through to completion. Events include a range of corporate and private functions with prestigious clients such as Panasonic, BP and Rio Tinto.
• Manage all elements of the event including booking entertainment, catering and decorations.
• Built excellent client rapport by leading site visits, discussing their event in person, over the phone and via email.
• Arrange detailed function sheets to distribute to clients and suppliers.
• Prepare all function related quotes and invoices. Responsible for credit
control and overdue payments.
• Increased responsibility has lead to being in charge of more complex
events on larger vessels and training new employees.
• Successfully manage diary to maximise the use of boats and income.
• Constantly transform enquiries into sales and receive excellent client
feedback.
• Research exciting new products and suppliers for events, negotiate prices
and book them in for functions.
Sous-chef
• Worked alongside the Head Chef in a high-pressured environment to constantly deliver creative cuisine to the highest standard.
• Created canapé receptions and business lunches for clients including the Royal Danish Embassy, Good Housekeeping magazine and IDEO.
• Responsibility included helping organise menus to suit budgets and book staff for events.
Salesperson
• Worked on a specialist Danish food stall at a Farmers’ Market where strong customer relationships were developed.
• Increased responsibility given, which included managing functioning of stall and its finances.
• Actively involved in marketing and selling a successful lunchbox scheme in order to gain more clients for business lunches.
